Many apologies for those I was threading with, work exploded in my face and still continues to do so. I guess, in addition to apologies, this is notice of a hiatus for Ben Grimm, Val von Doom, Artemus Gordon, Grover Underwood and Miyamoto Usagi. I am not sure how long it will be but the rest of November might not be a bad assumption.

I am going to assume all threads I had are quite stale by now or will be by the time I can return to them so I will beg a fade. Unless you are really attached to them, in which case please leave a note here and I will note it for when I can come back.

So, epithets.

Back when I used to play Aeneas I tried to work in the whole 'pious/noble/goodhearted Aeneas' thing into his narration, and I came to the conclusion that it really takes a certain heroic/folkloric writing style to have it sound natural, but it got me thinking.

What would your pup want to have as their epithet? And what would theirs actually be? In the case of pups who canonically have them, is it the one you would choose for them? And for pups who canonically have lots of them, as is the case for many god-types, which of them best fits the way you see them?

I think Al for instance would want (and probably get) 'loyal.' Not faithful, but loyal. :D

How about yours? I'ma think about mine and get back to it after I get back from downtown.

Since it's officially my day to do this (and I didn't have access last Saturday, because of lameness on my part), I thought I'd kick things off early!

What have you read this week that you feel deserves a little nod (or a high-five) of acknowledgment? Is there anything you've threaded this week that you feel particularly proud of and want to share with others?

For me, personally, the iMDB flu has been a huge source of awesomeness this week: Buffy Summers as Kathryn Merteuil, and Ava Wilson as Ginger Fitzgerald. Oh, and I kind of can't wait to see what Larry-as-Zoolander hijinks will ensue.

Sooo who totally dropped her bartending slowtimes? oh, right, me! Um, if Bragolc-mun and Mia-mun don't mind, I'll tag those in the morning. I'm sorry guys, everything came out of nowhere :/. But they are very fun! I might need to wind towards fades w/in the next five or six tags though just so things don't hang out forever. <3.

Goofing off/Hiatus
So y'all might see me goofing off now and then in mixed_muses and with some charas in milliways. This is because while I am a flake I cannot sustain a full hiatus because RP is just too darn fun even when I am extremely busy. However, m_m is because I don't feel so guilty for flaking and I usually tag people who I know will poke me if we fall into dismal slowtime. and will in fact let me drag on two month  or longer threads without thinking I hate them. *sheeeeeeeeeeepish* But other than that and scattered OOMs I'm probably on Hiatus until mid-december.  <333.

I'm Rym, player of Fakir from Princess Tutu, and I'm writing primarily to let my car keys partners, players of Echo and Nathan Petrelli, know that I won't be able to play for a while. I'd been hoping to come back to the game when I got through dissertation chapter + job application crunch a week ago, but somewhere during the work crunch I damaged my wrists and hands typing. RP will have to wait until my arms stop hurting; I don't know how long that will take.

Apologies to both of you, and to anyone else whom I'd promised to play with!

As some of you have noticed, Doc appears to be dead, this being Milliways, this probably won't last.

Now my pup here has been talking with some of his other friends and wants to throw a big bonfire party as a sort of a wake for him, the rum would flow, fireworks would go off and there would be great drunkeness.

I'm trying to get a sense of who would be interested and what might be a possible good weekend for this. I don't want to put it off too long so possibly around American Thanksgiving or the last weekend in November and there would be great slowtiming so everyone can come who wants to. Also as was just suggested to me the first weekend in December since that would be after NaNo for those who are doing it.

A bit earlier than I'd originally planned, but: We are go for Happy Hour which is totally not just to give Larry the IMDb flu, no, not at all.... Tag, threadhop, do as you will.
For narrative convenience, Larry won't be showing symptoms during happy hour. Those are reserved for the week or so following. XD
